“Yay, it’s Monday,” said no one ever! Wait–I take that back–I do celebrate Mondays when the Bachelor or Bachelorette is on! I know, I’m that girl–the one that lives for the silly drama and “reality” that is the Bachelor franchise, but who wouldn’t love getting together with the ladies and watching a show with some vino, right? Enough of that though because some of you may disown me; let’s get on to Merchandise Monday, where I feature products that, in reality, are amazing!
This week, I am featuring a product that has saved bedtime with my kids time and time again! In fact, I just used it last night when my little one’s tummy was upset and she refused to sleep. The Mamma’s Milk sling is by far the BEST product that I splurged on for baby number two. With my first born, I tried using a wrap-style baby wearing apparatus, but quickly gave up on it. I wanted to wear my baby when he was fussy, but it took me fifteen minutes to get the thing folded in half, laid out on the sofa and wrapped around myself. What kind of mom has that kind of time with a screaming baby? Some have mastered that product, but for me, I wanted a sling that I could just throw over my shoulder quickly to soothe baby. The beauty of this sling is that it is adjustable, but you do not have to adjust it every time you put it on. It has hidden Velcro strips that allow for adjusting after losing baby weight or for when baby grows, but it is ready to go when you are without any fuss! The material is soft, high quality, and durable. It’s no wonder that Mamma’s Milk has been featured in People Magazine and worn by celebrities–this baby rocks my world!
I have been using the sling since Leighton was 2 weeks old and am still using it at 6 months, so yes, I got my 50 dollars worth. The price may seem steep for a sling, but trust me you will be pleased with the product and your calm baby. For me, I use it at bedtime with my toddler because he is ready for bed, but my infant stays awake a little bit later. When she is fussy, I throw on the sling, she takes a catnap, and he gets his books read without mommy juggling a crying baby–a win for all of us!
The Mamma’s Milk sling can be used in a variety of positions and is easy to use! Do yourself a favor and put this on your baby registry or pick one up for the “witching” hour with a newborn. Head here to buy one and watch tutorials, or find it on Amazon! I hope that you love this product as much as I do–I know you will. From my bedtime routine to yours, I wish you a wonderful week!
